Independent travel to Saint Maximin

Below you will find some travel advice on how to travel independently to Saint Maximin. We would like to encourage you to use our shuttle buses. Please let us know, if you travel to Saint Maximin on your own, so that we and other conference participants do not wait for you.
If you arrive by train please use the train station Aix TGV.

There are four daily buses (Mo-Sat) from Marseille Airport to Saint-Maximin. Click here to find out travel times on your day of travel (choose Saint Maximin from the drop down list). A single ticket will cost you € 8.30 and the bus takes a little bit more than an hour. You can buy tickets at the ticket shop for the "Navettes Autocars", which is located between terminals 3 and 4. You should also be able to buy tickets on the bus. The ticket shop should accept credit cards. You are looking for the LER (Lignes Express Régionales) # 36 in the direction of Le Luc.
It is a no more than 10 min/500m walk from the bus station to the Couvent Royal. Click here for walking directions.

The buses from Marseille Airport to Saint Maximin will also stop at the Aix TGV train station. Please note that TGV stands for the French high speed trains and that there is also a local train station in the city centre of Aix. These direction are for the Aix TGV station.

A single ticket will cost you € 5.90. You should be able to buy tickets on the bus. You are looking for the LER (Lignes Express Régionales) # 36 in the direction of Le Luc.
